This last weekend was the Susan G. Komen 3 Day for the Cure. I started on this journey alone but was adopted onto the Saving 2nd Base Team. They had a great spirit and were wonderful to join up with. When I found out that I had a meniscus tear in left knee, they were right there beside me to say it was okay and they finished the walk for me.
I am working on my Day 3 post right now if you are waiting for it. It will be up sometime today. I can’t wait to share the last day with you!

so proud of you Rachael!
What a great group of gals to finish for you! And such a good cause to support.
YAY such a fantastic group of ladies you all are! Your support will one day help find a cure to that horrible disease, THANK-YOU!
Sorry about your knee, but what a nice bunch of gals to finish up for ya! They’re truly special.
Sorry about your knee! That bunny looks familiar
Glad you were able to find a team to walk with. It makes all the difference!!
Being at closing ceremony this past weekend has motivated me to start training as a mammographer! Thank you for being a walker this year.
My favorite quote from one of the shirts- “Let’s keep ‘em real!”
That is amazing! It sounds so empowering
I hope your knee starts feeling better. Did they say how long it will take to heal? I’m so glad I got to meet you in Cali (((hugs)))
