I have always enjoyed Deanna Gist’s books for their candidness and her easy to read and dramatic pull into each story.  Beguiled by Deeanne Gist and J. Mark Betrand was definitely different and while it didn’t grab me as quickly in the very beginning as Deanne Gist’s other books have in the past – I found this book to be intriguing as well as a great read.

Combining Deanne Gist’s wittiness and fun with J. Mark Betrand’s twists and mystery made for a book that was engaging, hard to put down, and made you part of the story.  I absolutely love the character growth and depth that this book had.

While completely different than the books that Deanne Gist’s previous work, this book is definitely a fun read as well as an inspiring one.  I looked forward to reading more of what this great duo put together in the future.
