My Goals For This Week

One thing I had intended to start in January was a list of goals that I wanted to accomplish each week and month.  Due to the unexpected news that I was going on bed rest, this kind of got pushed to the side as I learned to deal with how to still do daily routines from a laying down or reclining position.  Honestly, I have gone through a state of relearning how to do things and it took so much energy and patience that not much else got done.  I know think I have learned how to do things from this awkward position that I am ready to tackle a few goals.  These goals may be very different from yours but I would love to hear what your goals and plans are for each week.

Family Goals

Read Samantha Loses the Box Turtle (An Illustrated Children’s Chapter Book) aloud to my children

Make Valentines crafts with my kids and teach them about this day

Write a love letter to Dylan and make his birthday extra special

Personal Goals

Finish reading 52 Ways to Wow Your Husband: How to Put a Smile on His Face

Continue reading through the Bible in a Year

Homemaker Goals

Begin the first 10 recipes in my family picture cookbook

Organize the clothes in the kid’s buckets (10 minutes a day or try to do it laying down)

Make shower gifts for 3 upcoming baby showers

Business/Church Goals

Write 3 letters to ladies in our church that are sick or houseridden.

Do 6 chapters of the Bible Doctrine class I am taking

Finish researching and writing article for Empowering Mommy and Beautiful For Thee

What are your goals this week?  Do you keep your goals in your head or do you better if you write them out?
