I know we don’t want to think about it but school is already just around the corner.  Space Mathematics: Multiplication and Division is an app that can help your child refresh their math and prepare for back to school in a fun way.

I had the opportunity to play this app and while my math skills are quite rusty, I had a blast testing my skills.  The game suggests that your child should play this game for 2 hours a day but just a few minutes a day will keep their skills refreshed and keep the app challenging and fun.

The app starts off easy with the 2s multiplication table and then gets progressively harder.  You choose the rocket with the correct answer to send off into the meteorite.  It took me a few minutes to catch on completely but after that it was just a matter of beating the meteorite.

On the home page, you can pick your level of difficulty – easy, medium, and hard.  The younger your child is the easier the level would need to be.  The app is easy to navigate and pretty straight forward.

The graphics are eye catching and while they stay the same, they keep your interest. This app can be found in the iTunes store for just $.99.  A great fun way to review or learn your multiplication table.Tweet
