DIY Snowman Magnets

Activity boxes keep my little ones busy especially during the winter months.  Activity boxes also give us something creative to do together each day.

DIY Snowman Magnets: These are so cute and fun for little ones. Great to throw in the diaper bag for the doctor's office!

One of our new favorite activities are snowman magnets.  These magnets are so fun because you can make the snowman into whatever your imagination can think of.

To make this activity, I used the Alex Toys Snowman Dress-Up free printables.   These printables were made to be cut and pasted which would be just as much fun for your little ones but I chose to cut these myself, laminate them, and put magnets on the back.  I buy the rolls of self adhesive magnet rolls and cut them into strips to apply to the back.

My kids absolutely adore our new snowmen and this activity is something that we can pack in our activity bag and take on the road.  I use dollar store cookie sheets and lay felt over the top to make them more attractive.  It’s a cheap and easy way to make your own portable magnet board.

When my girls were little, they loved doing the magnet things. We had a whole bunch of sets with different themes. We finally got rid of them this past year. (They’re 9 and 10! LOL)
