I am a baby wearing Mama – I love wearing my babies close to my heart as much as I can.  Baby wearing is not only important for me because I can get so much more done but I have found that it allows my babies to feel more secure and content.  I tried many different carriers over the years and one of my favorites is the Belle Baby Carriers.

I recently received the Classic Hoot Belle Baby Carrier and I’m in love.  The owl design is adorable and is a design that is manly enough for my husband as well as cute enough for me.  The material is soft and sturdy.  I absolutely love the wide belt on the bottom and the wide shoulder straps.

The first time I tested this with my niece I used the carrier wrong and wondered why I didn’t have the support that I needed with this carrier.  I realized later that I had positioned the shoulder straps wrong.  Now that I have figured out how it really works this carrier is one of my very favorites.  A few of my favorite features are:

1.  It is compact.  This carrier is the only one that I own that is small enough to fit in my diaper bag.  I can carry it anywhere which makes it perfect for my lifestyle with 3 little ones.

2.  It can be used for infants 8 – 35 lbs.  Not many carriers of this type work for small infants but this wonderful carrier comes with the infant support so you can start using soon after birth.  I have other carriers that only work with infants if you buy a separate support – few come with the support.  The infant support easily velcros into the carrier.

3.  Hip support is wonderful.  I am a shorter mom (5 feet tall) so some carriers do not work for my body type but the Belle Baby Carrier is perfect for me and takes the weight of baby off my shoulders and puts it on my hips instead.

4.  The styles are absolute adorable and you can get this in organic.   There designs of Belle Baby carriers are so cute and you have quite a few styles to chose from.  I love the classic ones as much as the organic ones but I do love that this can be ordered in organic cotton.

As a mom, a baby carrier is one thing that I can’t live without.  With my son, I used a baby carrier until he was almost a year and a half old so it is  definitely a baby product worth investing the money into.
